Violent Revolution Boiling in America

Violent Revolution Boiling in America
Traveling from tea parties in Texas to "Oath Keeper" rallies in Massachusetts, VICE investigates whether the country is actually on the verge of the 2nd Revolutionary War.
--
The Department of Homeland Security classifies them as potential "domestic terrorists"; they prefer to be called patriots. As the economic crisis deepens, a growing movement of Americans is rejecting the two-party system and the mainstream media. They believe a violent revolution is imminent, and they're getting ready for it now. VICE correspondent Ryan Duffy crosses the country to meet the people on the front lines of the struggle. They include Alex Jones, a radio talk show host in Austin, Texas who is waking people up to the dangers of the corporate globalists — and has seen traffic on his websites increase dramatically in recent months. We also meet Sgt. Charles Dyer, a U.S. Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton who has taken an oath to disobey unconstitutional orders and take up arms against the government if it becomes tyrannical — and is training a citizen militia to do the same.

SHAWN LYONS WAS DEAD TO RIGHTS—and he knew it. More than a month had passed since People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals had released a video of savage mistreatment at the MowMar Farms hog confinement facility where he worked as an entry-level herdsman in the breeding room. The three enormous sow barns in rural Greene County, Iowa, were less than five years old and, until recently, had raised few concerns. They seemed well ventilated and well supplied with water from giant holding tanks. Their tightly tacked steel siding always gleamed white in the sun. But the PETA hidden-camera footage shot by two undercover activists over a period of months in the summer of 2008, following up on a tip from a former employee, showed a harsh reality concealed inside.

Top natural remedies for common skin problems like wrinkles, stretch marks and acne

Top natural remedies for common skin problems like wrinkles, stretch marks and acne
(NaturalNews) The usual skin creams, lotions, or salves promoted on TV or on slick magazine ads are not effective for wrinkles, stretch marks, acne, and other skin problems. They often make matters worse, they're expensive, and some even contain carcinogenic components.

Pharmaceutical applications prescribed by dermatologists can be just as ineffective and harmful, and probably more expensive. Your skin is your largest organ. It is your immune system's first line of defense. However, some ingredients can eventually be absorbed into your bloodstream.

Using natural ingredients on your skin is a wiser first choice, if you know what is likely to work for any undesirable skin condition.

Highlighting topically applied natural skin remedies

Here are some suggestions starting from the most serious, non-impact injury troublesome skin conditions, to the least threatening.

Skin cancers (non-melanoma) and warts are reportedly cured by extracts from eggplant. UK physician Dr. Bill Cham, MD, PhD, observed Australian farmers and veterinarians curing farm animals of skin cancer with a folk remedy extracted from the Australian Devil's Apple plant.

So he took samples of Devil's Apple and studied them to determine their active ingredients. Since Devil's Apple is not easily found everywhere, he looked for an easier alternative source that contained the same phytonutrient glycocides and glycoalkaloids that were the cancer curing agents of Devil's Apple.

That turned out to be eggplant. So Dr. Cham created a cream using those compounds from eggplant to sell commercially known as BEC5. Though condemned by mainstream dermatology, which insists you avoid sunshine to escape skin cancer,

Dr. Jonathan Wright MD, founder of the holistic Tahoma Clinic in the Seattle, Washington area promotes Dr. Cham's BECS product.

You can even make your own extract of eggplant solution that some have tried with success, explained here: http://www.naturalnews.com/035471_skin_cancer_cure_eggplant.html

Herpes and several other skin irritations, including eczema, dermatitis, and tinea are easily remedied by topical applications of aloe vera gel. Aloe vera is antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-fungal.

Use the highest quality organic gel you can find, or better yet, grow your own. Pealing or cutting a leaf of the plant exposes its healing gel, which can be directly applied to infected areas.

Here are more detailed instructions for using aloe vera topically on a variety of skin problems: http://www.naturalnews.com

Tinea is a skin surface fungus that can manifest as athlete's foot, ring worm, or genital area skin irritations for women and men (jock itch). Ringworm has the red ring look and can appear almost anywhere. Other tinea contaminated areas can appear somewhat red or display a white, scaly appearance.

Tinea is a fungus that loves warm, damp areas and makes those areas itch almost incessantly. The most common topical application that is usually effective is tea tree oil. It's an indigenous folk remedy that has proven itself in Western medicine clinical trials.

Neem is another good natural topical remedy for tinea. The salve usually works well, and if you can find an ozonated or oxygenated tea tree oil or neem salve, go for it. You can get some relief from pure unpasteurized apple cider vinegar as well.

Extra virgin olive oil prevents abnormal brain tangle formation to prevent Alzheimer's disease

Extra virgin olive oil prevents abnormal brain tangle formation to prevent Alzheimer's disease

Extra virgin olive oil boosts production of enzymes that break amyloid brain tangles

Researchers studied the effect of one active component of olive oil that helps shuttle the abnormal AD proteins out of the brain. Prior work has concluded that the health benefits of olive oil are attributable to the high concentration of monounsaturated fats, but the research team found that the actual protective agent might be a substance called oleocanthal, which helps to protect nerve cells from the kind of damage that occurs in AD.

Lead research author, Dr. Amal Kaddoumi and his team constructed a study using a mouse model to determine whether oleocanthal helps decrease the accumulation of beta-amyloid in the brain. Scientists tested the effects of oleocanthal in the brains and cultured brain cells of laboratory mice and found a consistent pattern in which the compound boosted production of two proteins and key enzymes believed to be critical in removing amyloid-beta from the brain.

The authors concluded "Extra-virgin olive oil-derived oleocanthal associated with the consumption of Mediterranean diet has the potential to reduce the risk of AD or related neurodegenerative dementias." Nutrition scientists are now one step closer to understanding the health-promoting benefits of olive oil as this research confirms how small dietary lifestyle modifications help to prevent chronic illness. It is important to note that this study used cold-pressed EVOO, and not 'light' olive oil that has been refined to reduce the critical polyphenols that characterize the oil. Incorporate one to two tablespoons of EVOO daily to halt Alzheimer's disease progression it its tracks.

Breaking: New PRISM slide leaked by the Guardian: NSA has direct access to servers of Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Yahoo, Apple and others

Breaking: New PRISM slide leaked by the Guardian: NSA has direct access to servers of Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Yahoo, Apple and others
(NaturalNews) Breaking news -- this is one of the biggest stories of our lifetime -- it is critical for all internet users to read and understand this. The Guardian has just released a new slide today from its collection of 41 PRISM slides detailing the top secret NSA spy program that has, for years, granted the U.S. government "back door" access to the servers of Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Apple, AOL, Facebook and others. The new slide, shown below, reveals that every one of these companies has been blatantly and viciously lying to its users over the last several days as they have denied the government has any sort of "direct access" to their servers.

In a brilliant move of strategic journalism, the Guardian held on to this revealing PRISM slide until today, allowing all these tech companies to dig themselves into deep holes of denial regarding participation in the NSA spy program. Once all the companies were on the record claiming government has no "direct access" to their servers, the Guardian slapped down this jaw-dropping top secret slide image shown below. It reveals, in plain English, that the NSA's "FAA702" operations engage in "collection directly from the servers of these U.S. Service Providers: Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, PalTalk, AOL, Skype, YouTube, Apple."

That slide, originally published by the Guardian, is shown here:

Shoring Up Second Amendment With “Armed Citizen Project”
A Houston-based nonprofit organization — the Armed Citizen Project — is offering free gun training and free shotguns to selected residents of Oak Forest, a high-crime neighborhood in Houston, Texas. The founder of the organization — Kyle Coplen — plans to expand the Armed Citizen Project to high-crime cities throughout the country.
According to Thomas Jefferson, “The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” While the most important purpose of the Second Amendment is to protect the right of citizens to oppose governmental tyranny, a strong subsidiary purpose is to protect the right of citizens to defend themselves against criminals. In the words of the Kyle Coplen,
We’re coming — and we’re going to get shotguns into the hands of responsible citizens,” said Kyle Coplen, who founded the nonprofit Armed Citizen Project in January.
“When criminals fear the citizenry, it deters crime,” the 29-year-old added.

Former CIA Director David Petraeus is in attendance at the 2013 Bilderberg Group conference to help construct the “big data” spy grid, which is set to become the new frontier of clandestine statecraft as Internet connectivity becomes ubiquitous.

Bilderberg’s official agenda for 2013 lists one of the areas of discussion as, “How big data is changing almost everything,” a reference to how the “Internet of things” along with the ubiquitous growth of social media is transforming the world of surveillance and the ability to foresee and manipulate future events.
At almost the exact same time, a Homeland Security subcommittee in the United States will also be discussing “big data” and its implications in the context of social media.

On June 6, it convened. It continues through June 9. It’s a rite of spring. A previous article said British political economist Will Hutton calls attendees the “high priests of globalization.”

The administration responded Thursday to a report byThe Guardian revealing the National Security Agency is currently collecting the phone records of millions of Verizon customers in the U.S. under a top secret court order issued in April.

The statement from a senior administration official:
The article discusses what purports to be an order issued by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court under a provision of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act that authorizes the production of business records. Orders of the FISA Court are classified. On its face, the order reprinted in the article does not allow the Government to listen in on anyone’s telephone calls. The information acquired does not include the content of any communications or the name of any subscriber. It relates exclusively to metadata, such as a telephone number or the length of a call.

NSA Mining Data of Nine Internet Companies, Post Reports
The NSA and FBI are "tapping directly into the central servers of nine leading U.S. Internet companies, extracting audio, video, photographs, e-mails, documents and connection logs that enable analysts to track a person's movements and contacts over time," the Washington Postreported Thursday evening. The news came just one day after the British newspaper The Guardian reported about the National Security Agency's daily collection of the telephone logs of all Verizon's U.S. customers.
The secret program, called PRISM, has been in operation since 2007, but has not been disclosed publicly before, the Post said. A career intelligence officer provided PowerPoint slides and supporting materials to the paper to expose the massive invasion of privacy. "They quite literally can watch your ideas form as you type," the officer said.

Media Spotlight Shines on Bilderberg; Agenda Still Secret

Media Spotlight Shines on Bilderberg; Agenda Still Secret
The infamous annual Bilderberg meetings, which bring together global power-brokers from government, business, finance, intelligence, royalty, media, central banking, academia, and more, are set to begin this week in the United Kingdom. In line with an apparent trenddeveloping in recent years, the veil of secrecy surrounding the mere existence of the controversial confab has slowly been pierced as more and more major media outlets report on the gathering. Taxpayers will be picking up much of the tab, but the growing numbers of protesters and reporters seeking answers will not be allowed in.

Even though Bilderberg has recently started publicly offering some details about its secretive meetings — partial guest lists and supposed topics of discussion, for example — critics say the real agenda remains hidden from the public at large. Around the world, however, outraged citizens and even excluded leaders have become increasingly suspicious of the gathering, blasting what they perceive as the planet’s self-styled “elite” making decisions for humanity behind closed doors.

California Insurance Rates to Shoot Up Under ObamaCare

California Insurance Rates to Shoot Up Under ObamaCare
What we know for sure the [Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act] will do is that it will lower the cost of buying non-group health insurance,” ObamaCare architectJon Gruber told the Washington Post’s Ezra Klein in 2009.

But as insurance companies release their proposed rates for 2014 — the year that most of ObamaCare actually goes into effect — it is becoming increasingly clear that the law is, in fact, causing individual insurance rates to skyrocket. Maryland’s largest insurer of individuals, for instance, has proposed a 25-percent rate hike for next year. And new insurer proposals from California, despite the state’s best efforts to portray them otherwise, show that individual rates in the Golden State are likely to experience even greater increases.

On May 23, Covered California, the state’s insurance exchange, issued a press release announcing that in 2014, 13 health plans will be available to individuals via the exchange. Then, through some sleight-of-hand, the exchange went on to claim that the premiums for these plans would be either slightly higher or significantly lower than comparable existing plans.

Congress Looks to Revise, Expand President's War Powers

Congress Looks to Revise, Expand President's War Powers
President Obama has pledged he will not sign any law to expand the president's war-making authority under the joint resolution known as the Authorization for the Use of Military Force, passed by both houses of Congress three days after the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington. What's more, the president said in the major foreign policy address he delivered at National Defense University nearly two weeks ago that he looked forward to "engaging Congress and the American people in efforts to refine, and ultimately repeal, the AUMF's mandate." Yet in rejecting the concept of a "boundless 'global war on terror,'" Obama promised a continued "series of persistent, targeted efforts to dismantle specific networks of violent extremists that threaten America." These efforts will continue in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and in places such as Yemen, Somali, and North Africa, he said.

Obama Admin. Won’t Give Out Officials’ Secret E-mail Addresses

Obama Admin. Won’t Give Out Officials’ Secret E-mail Addresses
The president who promised “an unprecedented level of openness” is in charge of an executive branch that communicates via secret e-mail accounts, making it difficult, if not impossible, for federal agencies to provide complete responses to document requests. What’s more, reports the Associated Press, the Obama administration appears to be stonewalling requests for the addresses of the secret accounts and records related to their creation.

Until now, few of these nonpublic accounts were known to exist. The best-known was an account used by former Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) administrator Lisa Jackson. Using the alias Richard Windsor, Jackson “coordinate[d] propaganda and policy with media allies, ‘green’ groups, and policymakers to advance the Obama administration’s radical ‘environmental’ agenda,” The New American reported in February. On Monday the Washington Free Beacon revealed that “Richard Windsor” had been “awarded numerous certificates for ethics and records management” by the EPA, including being named a “scholar of ethical behavior.”

Debate: Supreme Court OKs Unfettered DNA Collection — An Invasion of Privacy or a Blow to Crime?

In a landmark decision, the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled the police can collect DNAsamples from people they arrest even before they are convicted of a crime. Supporters of the swabbing method call it "the fingerprinting of the 21st century" that will help nab criminals and break open unsolved cases. But privacy advocates say the ruling is vague because it does not define what constitutes a "serious crime," and could create an incentive for police to make more arrests. The Supreme Court’s 5-to-4 ruling will likely fuel an expansion of DNA swabbing nationwide. We host a debate between Michael Risher of the American Civil Liberties Union and Mai Fernandez of the National Center for Victims of Crime.

As U.S. Deploys Patriot Missiles and F-16s to Jordan, Could Syrian Conflict Engulf the Middle East? | Democracy Now!
Pro-government Syrian forces have seized control of the key border town of Qusayr, which had been controlled by rebel fighters for the past year. This comes as the United Nations accuses both sides of the Syrian conflict of reaching "new levels of brutality." Since fighting broke out over two years ago in Syria, more than 80,000 people have been killed, and another 1.6 million Syrian refugees have fled. We’re joined by longtime foreign correspondent Patrick Cockburn of The Independent, who recently returned from Syria where he reported on how the conflict is spreading across the Middle East. Cockburn warns that pending global peace talks will have no effect without a ceasefire on the ground. "The best you could really hope for at this stage is a ceasefire, get the level of violence down, and then later you might have talks of sharing power," Cockburn says. "But you are not going to have that at the moment."

Learn about the "miracle" of Ozone Dentistry
OraJuvenate is made by generating ozone with a coronal discharge mechanism, then infusing or "trapping" the ozone inside the organic esters of jojoba. The jojoba "stabilizes" the ozone, capturing it and concentrating it into a form that can be easily applied to your gums or skin.
OraJuvenate offers amazing benefits for gum health. Simply massage it along your gum line, using a finger, right before you go to bed each night. The ozonated Jojoba works while you sleep. Many people also apply ozone directly to problem areas of their teeth.
As it turns out, there's an exciting new field of dentistry called ozone dentistry. This involves nothing more than squirting ozonated water onto cavities using an FDA-approved dental device. This ozone kills the bacteria in the cavity and in many cases avoids the usual drilling and filling of cavities altogether, say dentists.
Check out this local ABC News story from Fresno, California, which says:
A Fresno dentist is taking the pain out of cavity treatment, with a process that uses air and water. The technique drastically reduces the need for drilling and filling. Some of patients find it hard to believe, until they see the results. Dr. William Netzley is using a pain-free technique called Ozone Dentistry with specially treated air and water that even he admits sounds too good to be true.

Venezuela police seize 2,500 rolls of toilet paper - Knology
CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — Police in Venezuela say they have seized nearly 2,500 rolls of toilet paper in an overnight raid of a clandestine warehouse storing scarce goods.
The Thursday announcement on Twitter said that the officers raiding the garage in western Caracas also seized about 400 diapers and 7,000 liters of fruit juice.
Police chief Luis Karabin told Venezuelan news agency AVN that police, acting on a telephone tip, found "merchandise that we know is scarce on the shelves and doesn't reach the people."
Toilet paper is hard to find in Venezuelan grocery stores, as are staple food items such as sugar, milk and cooking oil.

Is Genetically Modified Wheat Safe? | GM Food | LiveScience
Genetically modified wheat has mysteriously turned up in an Oregon field, and while there's no evidence that the crop is in the food supply, experts say it would be safe to consume.
The strain of GM wheat found in Oregon was developed by the biotechnology company Monsanto, officials confirmed. The finding was a surprise because as far as anyone knew, GM wheat has never been grown anywhere in the world outside of experiments. While other GM crops have been approved for cultivation, GM wheat has not.
Following the announcement, Japan and South Korea suspended some imports of U.S. wheat, and the European Union said it was testing U.S. wheat shipments to make sure they did not contain GM wheat.

Welcome to the Currency War, Part 10: Fewer Choices, More Risk

Welcome to the Currency War, Part 10: Fewer Choices, More Risk
For a while there it looked like Japan had the answer. A strong new leader comes in and cuts through all the indecision, orders the central bank to flood the system with cash to depreciate the currency now rather than later – and boom, the stock market soars, exports rise and the economy starts growing again.
The entire left-of-center world eyed this process hungrily, sensing both vindication of their views and the coming economic nirvana when their governments finally accepted the truth about debt (it doesn’t matter) and easy money (a free lunch that always creates wealth). If Japan’s success proved sustainable, within a matter of months the European Central Bank would have no choice but to join the money creation orgy. And with the euro and yen both falling like rocks, the US Fed would soon have to follow.
But Japan’s success, to put it mildly, didn’t turn out to be sustainable. Just as Austrian economists and common sense predicted, interest rates on Japanese bonds soared, as the global markets subtracted the 2% target inflation rate from the 1.5% or so yield on long bonds, and decided that a negative real interest rate probably wasn’t the best deal. They sold, bond prices plunged, yields rose, and Japan hit the wall that Kyle Bass and others have been predicting it would hit for, it seems, ever. Japan’s stock market, now unsure exactly what is going on, has sold off in huge, bloody chunks. (The following chart does not show today’s 518 point drop.)

The Corbett Report | Bilderberg Exposed: Leaks, Whistleblowers, and Secrets

The Corbett Report | Bilderberg Exposed: Leaks, Whistleblowers, and Secrets
is the first week of June, and that can only mean two things. Firstly, that 130 or so of the world’s most richest and powerful figures will be gathering at a 5-star resort near London to discuss some of the most important topics in global finance and geopolitics. And secondly, that the so-called “fourth estate” whose very reason for existing is supposedly to keep the public informed on issues of importance will be doing their best to label anyone who so much as raises questions about the meeting as a delusional mental patient.
That the BBC would smear those interested in this annual meeting as believers in “inter-stellar lizards” is especially odd considering the network’s own coverage of the group just a few years ago. Back in 2003, the BBC aired “Club Class,” a half hour exploration of the group and the secrecy surrounding it. The program even presented the documentary evidence that the group was committed to forming a European Union from the time of its inception in the mid-1950s, decades before the term was ever normalized in mainstream discourse.
By the BBC’s own logic, BBC presenter Simon Cox is clearly a delusional believer in inter-stellar lizards for daring to talk about the conference. The characterization of those interested in this meeting as mentally unhinged individuals is so obviously flawed that it is not even offensive. It is self-parodying. Better yet, exactly as the rare moment of lucidity on BBC’s Club Class program a decade ago demonstrates, there is ample documentary evidence, including leaks and confessions from Bilderberg whistleblowers and insiders, proving that the meeting is, contrary to its self-characterization, a policy-setting conference at which important global policies and agendas are not only discussed, but later implemented.

Peptide found in egg whites can lower blood pressure, say researchers

Peptide found in egg whites can lower blood pressure, say researchers
(NaturalNews) Considering that eggs contain all the nutrients needed to develop healthy chicks, it is unsurprising that studies into their numerous health benefits for humans abound. Eating more eggs has, for instance, been repeatedly linked to reduced LDL cholesterol, a lowered risk of macular degeneration, and improved cognitive and nervous system function. Scientists based at Clemson University in South Carolina, however, have discovered another good reason to add more eggs to our diets - a peptide found in eggs whites called RVPSL can reduce blood pressure, thereby preventing heart disease.

In the war on cancer, the disease is only half the battle.

STREAMING VIDEO AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY. NO PHYSICAL DVD.

This thought-provoking documentary takes on the forces that have conspired to thwart meaningful advances in cancer research and treatment over the past century, forces including:
  • The federal government (in its effort to label and persecute innovators as quacks)
  • Drug companies eager to suppress alternative treatments
  • Powerful industry organizations that place profit over human lives
The story centers on the Navarros, a family struggling to keep their young son alive. The war between the Navarro Family and the FDA is perhaps this country's greatest evidence as to why there should be medical freedom. As the personal meets the political, we see how the FDA holds a vise-like grip on treatment options.

The Vagus Nerve and the Healing Promise of The Sudarshan Kriya - Waking Times : Waking Times
It is our Vagus nerve that provides the gateway between the two systems, acting as a bioinformational data bus that routes the impulses going through in both directions. Since the Vagus Nerve acts as the central switchboard between our two nervous systems, it should not come as a surprise that impaired functioning of this one nerve can lead to so many different conditions and problems.
